TRANSLATING. ADAPTING. REVISING.
OR MASTERING THE ART OF COMMUNICATING.

Convey the original meaning in impeccable, idiomatic French. Adapt the message to the target audience. Use the power of words to communicate effectively. Keep it clear, precise and to the point. This is the art at which Valérie Palacio-Quintin excels. It is how she has built a prestigious client list: ARTV, CBC/Radio-Canada, Espace pour la vie, Explora, GSM Project, Hydro-Québec, La Ruelle Films, Pixcom, SPR, TFO, Urbania TV, and a number of local producers and directors are among those who seek her fluid writing style for their French communications.

Valérie Palacio-Quintin holds a bachelor’s degree in translation from Université de Montréal and has over 30 years’ experience in the linguistic field. She has developed an expertise in adaptation and transcreation, particularly in cultural sector. From 2005 to 2011, she made her mark leading some 15 adaptation and content creation mandates for the Quebec versions of Cranium and Hasbro board games. And for several years, she revised all of the material produced for the Fondation Hydro-Québec pour l’environnement. On her off time, she loves to travel and has visited some 20 countries to date.
